HIS STORY!
After reading about Rapid Dating on the internet, I decided to give it a try, so on April 23rd, 2002, I arrived at the Sheraton Universal in Universal City about 20 minutes early to check out the "Embarrassment Quotient."  Hmm, not too bad, most everyone looked normal (of course, who knows how I looked to them), so I decided to while away the last 15 minutes at the patio bar...and that's when it happened.

His identity forever unknown, a marvelously ill-mannered man cut in front of a dark-haired woman at the bar who was trying to flag the bartender.  Very rude, so I approached the woman from behind, her face still unseen, and when she finally had a chance to order her drink, I told the bartender to put in on my tab, at which point she turned around, smiled a dazzling "thank you" and that forever changed my life.

She was gorgeous, very at-ease and easy to be with and she was actually there for the same event!  We chatted until Rapid Dating started, and as fate had it, she was the last woman scheduled to "visit" my table, a perfect set-up for a follow-up invitation for a Citywalk snack.  She accepted, and when she ordered fried peanut butter and jelly at B.B. King's, I knew this beautiful brunette had real potential.
Nine months later at 12:01 AM, December 8th, 2002, the peanut butter and jelly paid off on Catalina Island under a canopy of stars when Denise accepted my proposal.  Thank you Rapid Dating, thank you Renee and now and forever, I Love You, Denise!

 HER STORY!
 I heard of Rapid Dating on the radio, friends, and of course the great and exciting story on the news that made me really want to try it. It sounded like a lot of FUN! So, I had a girlfriend at work that wanted to go too and we signed up. At last minute she cancelled. I went by my self anyway not expecting to meet anyone but just to have fun. Well, there he was before it all began with a smile that entranced me, buying me a drink. I had to go through all the others first to finally meet him at the last table of the evening. I have never met such a caring, stable, intelligent, and wonderful man with an amazing family before. He was the one! He proposed to me eight months later, and I couldn’t let this treasure go. Thank you so much for giving us the opportunity to meet. If it wasn’t for your organization, I would not have had the chance to meet my wonderful husband.

Thank you again for helping me to find an amazing woman with whom I currently have a great relationship.  Last year, I had attended several of your Rapid Dating events in Santa Monica, and met a number of attractive, quality women, but nothing   was working out.  My instincts told me I was doing something wrong, so I contacted you for a make-over.  After a coaching session about my Rapid Dating techniques when first meeting someone, you suggested a radical physical make-over and some wardrobe changes to update my stodgy attire.  The effect was immediate!  Women on the street began to smile and flirt with me!  You also helped me to redecorate my condo to make it more "woman-friendly."
 
When the next Rapid Dating event came around for the 40 to 55 age group, I signed up.  At the event I had a great time, and really hit it off with one particular woman, Sally.  The next day I received my matches, and got 5, a new record for me, no doubt due to my new look.  But wait!!!  Sally was not one of my matches... how could this be?  I began to doubt my ability to understand women, but this had seemed so obvious!  I called your office to check and see if there was a mistake.  I was told that Sally had checked no.  Reluctantly, I called a couple of the other women, and made a date for the weekend with one of them.  Unbeknownst to me, at the same time, Sally was also calling to see why I wasn't one of her matches... she couldn't believe it either!  She was told that she had checked "NO" next to my name.  "What?" she said.... "It's a mistake.  I must have meant to check the one before his name."  It was suggested that if she wanted to change her vote, that would be OK.  "YES!" she said.  We both received e-mails with each other's contact information, and I called her while she was sending me an e-mail.
 
We made a date for that weekend, and have been seeing each other 4 or 5 times a week ever since.  It's been almost 3 years now, and it's just getting better.  We are both over 50, and veterans of long-term marriages.  It is possible to find love again. We are now living togetherand very happy!

 Renee and Joes Love Story

Our Love story is the kind movies are made of and it warms my heart to know fairy tales do come true.  Like many other single souls that I now cater to in my Rapid Dating business, I was challenged in the search for my perfect match. I would go on TV and on radio shows and get interrogated my single status.  I was on a mission to change the stigma about being over 35 and still not married. I knew I would know love when it happened!

The story begins with sudden news of my mother s death right before Mothers Day in 2002. I was flying in the following week for my aunt BeBe’s wedding (by the way she was 60 years old and getting married for the first time.) Who knew my mother’s routine surgery would end her life, and we lost her.

Due to the devastation, my aunt’s wedding was delayed until August.  I returned home to Wilmington, Delaware for the festivities and was the oldest flower girl in history. I decided that I would host a Rapid Dating event and do some media while I was visiting. The hometown girl returns to spread some love.

I then got asked to go to Dewey Beach, Delaware to go on a date. I got a ride with my cousin Gina and was staying at her parent’s beach bungalow where I vacationed growing up! My date was very late and was unwilling to pick me up at my aunts and uncles trailer claiming he could not believe I was staying in a “trailer park” and it was out of his way.  Needless to say, I cancelled the date and I told him I did not appreciate insulting my family. 

That night I went to dinner with my family and stopped at one of my old stomping grounds “The Rusty Rudder” in Dewy Beach. I ran into a handsome man (my Joe) that night that I had met over many years ago in my high school days at his cousins wedding. We had that instant magic and expressed our attraction from the past and in the moment.  This was the chance meeting that changed my life forever.

Just minutes later the bouncer came by noticing Joe’s son Joey was too young to be in the bar area after 9:00PM (It was 9:15 PM when we met) and we were asked to leave if we wanted to talk. We realize now  that if my date had not have been a jerk or if had come even minutes later we might have never met. It was like the movie “Sliding Doors”.

The reality hit …I was leaving in the morning and he lived 3000 miles away. I was sad because long distance relationships don t usually work and I did not want to fall for a man so far away.  He had meetings in LA the following week and asked me for a date. We got together almost weekly after that first romantic weekend and we knew after a few months that we were meant to be together. In January of 2003 he was offered a new position at Oracle in Southern California 7 blocks from my house. Was it Fate? Destiny?
Joe is the man I have always dreamed of meeting. He loves people like I do and we enjoy helping others find love. We are now married for 2 years on Sept 4^th 2007. He asked me to marry him on his knee at his parents 50^th Wedding anniversary in front of his entire family…a true romantic. 

If you believe in Love before it comes and prepare for it mentally, physically and spiritually& it will show up. That is the secret! Joe and I are here to inspire others never to give up on LOVE!

We got Engaged!

I just got engaged to my sweetie Angelique whom I met at your RapidDating event on August 13, 2003 at Prego in Irvine.  It was my second time at Rapid Dating, the first having yielded no results. She was so nervous that she drove into and then exited the Prego parking lot twice and started to drive back home, then got up the courage and did one more U-turn which would bring her into my life forever. Our first date was two days later, where we'd planned on just meeting for coffee, but ended up then going to see the movie "S.W.A.T." (how romantic?). We got engaged, in a helicopter, on our 18 month anniversary of meeting at RapidDating! We are very happy and planning on getting married in August2005 ! We are very grateful. Thank you very much!

Hi Renee,

I haven't see you in over a year, because the last time I saw you in Beverly Hills I met the girl of my dreams. Danielle and I have been going out quite seriously for over a year and are now getting Married July 2007. We are both so happy together.  We are friends with 2 other couples who also met at Rapid Dating (1 married and the other engaged) so when we are out in a group its kind of funny knowing that all 6 of us met at your events. There is proof that what you are doing is working!
